Last week, WINGS ICT Solutions proudly participated in the impactful ‘Technical Advances and Societal Implications Workshop’ as part of the #DARWIN project and hosted an interactive session with a diverse group of stakeholders.

Participants including commodity traders, farmers, processors, distributors, academics and industry leaders, engaged in discussions about the challenges and opportunities surrounding New Genomic Techniques (NGT) detection and data management.

As Leader of Work Package 3, which focuses on digital solutions and the development of an innovative traceability platform, WINGS ICT Solutions is driving the development of DARWIN’s digital tools, ensuring they meet stakeholder needs while integrating cutting-edge technologies such as Federated Learning, Blockchain and decision support AI.

Our goal is to provide a transparent, accessible and reliable tools that empower users across the food value chain to ensure traceability, authenticity and informed decision-making.

A big thank to all participants whose insights were invaluable in shaping the direction of DARWIN’s digital solutions for a more transparent and trustworthy food system, powered by innovation and collaboration.
