We’re thrilled to announce that WINGS ICT Solutions is playing a key role in the SEA-SPINE project, a groundbreaking initiative to enhance connectivity across the Aegean Sea. As the project manager and technical partner, we’re working alongside Cosmote and the Greek Ministry of Digital Governance to bring this vision to life.

Project Highlights:

•             7 new underwater fiber optic cables to connect 11 Aegean islands including Amorgos, Kos, Chios, and Lesvos.

•             A total of 563 kilometers of underwater cables and an additional 232 kilometers of land links to ensure seamless integration with terrestrial networks.

•             Enhanced services in both mobile and fixed broadband, lower network latency, and increased reliability for local communities.

This initiative is co-funded by the European Commission under the Connecting Europe Facility-Digital (CEF-Digital) framework, aligning with the EU’s strategy for a greener and more digitally advanced society.

The SEA-SPINE project, with a duration of three years, is set to be completed by the end of 2026, promising a major boost in digital infrastructure for the region.
