Monetization of WINGS IoT, AI & advanced wireless experience

WINGS works towards the monetization of its background and experience in the IoT, AI and Wireless domains.
WINGS members have worked on R&D in the field of IoT (Internet of Things), cognition (Artificial Intelligence) and advanced wireless (4G, 5G, etc).
At the EC funded project Proteus, WINGS developed embedded intelligence for realizing the smart connected water vision. At the EC funded iKaaS (intelligent Knowledge as a Service), WINGS developed cloud based components for environment monitoring and smart city applications. These were further validated through experimentation with FIESTA-IoT testbeds. Finally, work in the context of 5G-PPP projects, e.g., One5G, Clear5G, will yield an even more powerful infrastructure for enabling mode demanding use cases.
All this background lead to the platform Cataract (proaCtive mAnagemenT plAtform foR smArt Connected waTer), which is currently piloted in Northern Greece.
